Jon Wheelwright DPT was born in Boise, Idaho and grew up in North Logan, Utah. He completed his undergraduate work at the Utah State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and graduated from The University of Utah with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
He has experience treating patients with a broad variety of orthopaedic conditions. His clinical interests include manual therapy in the treatment of patients with neck and back pain. He has also taken classes on the McKenzie Method of treatment, which focuses primarily on patients with spinal conditions. He is fluent in Spanish.
Jon has a particular interest in orthopaedic manual therapy. Physical therapy allows him to use his passion for fitness and overall health, and to encourage others to maximize their ability to do the things they enjoy in life. He also enjoys the opportunities that physical therapy affords him to get to know such a wide variety of people.
Jon loves snow skiing, running, mountain and road biking, hiking, and camping. Jon has always had a passion for being outdoors. He and his wife, Lori Ann, are proud parents of two little boys.
