Justin Lindner, OTR/L, CHT is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist. His undergraduate studies were done at Weber State University and the University of Utah where he obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Studies. He then earned a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Utah in 2012.
Justin then immediately began the process of working towards a specialty certification in treating the hand and upper extremity. He obtained a position with a large hospital system in Texas, where he worked with, and was mentored by, a team of Certified Hand Therapists, fellowship—trained hand orthopaedic surgeons, trauma orthopaedic surgeons, and plastic surgeons who specialized in hand/upper extremity surgery. The physicians he worked for also provided care for both professional and college sports teams in Texas. He was then recruited to lead a hand therapy program for a hospital in rural Oregon. There he mentored 5 other occupational therapists, worked closely with the general orthopaedic surgeons in town, and established the first local program to provide therapy for patients that were seen by the specialty hand surgeons in Eugene and Portland.
