About Dr. Rocco
Jeffrey Rocco, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction, lower extremity trauma, and hip and knee replacement. He provides top-quality orthopaedic care to patients throughout Ogden, Utah, at Utah Orthopaedics.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Dr. Rocco earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to complete his fellowship at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center in Pontiac, Michigan, in 2003 and has been practicing in Utah since 2006.
Dr. Rocco was the first to perform ankle replacement surgery in Weber County. At Utah Orthopaedics, he offers non-operative treatments and employs minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Rocco is on the Research and Review Board for First Endurance Sports Nutrition and is a master fitter of ski boots, shoes, and orthotics. He enjoys trail running, skiing, triathlons, and mountain biking.
About Dr. Davis
Dr. Sean Davis, MD, is ecstatic to be joining Utah Orthopaedics. Dr. Davis is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. His mission is to offer his patients a variety of treatment options through cutting edge techniques in sports medicine and minimally invasive surgery: including arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. This allows his patients to recover quicker and return to activities faster.
Originally from a small town in northern Nevada, Dr. Davis knew he wanted to pursue a career in medicine from a young age. He graduated as co-valedictorian from high school before attending and graduating magna cum laude from Southern Utah University in 2011 with a major in Exercise Science and Kinesiology as well as double minors in Chemistry and Biology.
Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Davis attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno where he graduated among the top in his class. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine before completing an additional year sub-specializing in sports medicine at one of the top ranked fellowships in the country: The Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
While working on his fellowship year, he had the privilege to work under some of the world leaders and innovators in the field of sports medicine. During his training, Dr. Davis had the opportunity to help care for athletes of all ages including high school, collegiate, professional, and those just wishing to maintain active lifestyles. He has published and presented several orthopedic research articles, textbook chapters, and educational surgical videos. Dr. Davis’ experience working with athletes of all levels has provided him a unique perspective when diagnosing and treating both routine and complex orthopedic injuries. It is his absolute honor to be able to help his patients return to the activities they love doing as quickly as possible.
Dr. Davis considers his patients as family and always makes himself available but when he’s not in the office or the operating room, he loves to spend time with his beautiful wife, Hillary, and their three boys. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, golf, and spending time outdoors.
